Roth Floor and Trim

We just completed this project in May of 2011.  This floor features nine species that we harvested in our own family-owned and managed woodlot: red oak, white oak, red elm, maple, hickory, birch, walnut, cherry, and black locust!  We used a zero-VOC penetrating oil finish on the floor with no stain to provide rich and natural color and a silky smooth texture underfoot.  The walnut base trim and door casing really sets off our installation.
